How Much Can You Expect to Make Doing BPO’s?
I strongly believe that in any situation in life, the potential for success is always present. In real estate you have to motivate yourself to be successful and the progress you make is a product of what you put into it. In BPO work, this same principle applies. I feel that the “Sky is the limit!”
Similar to any job, you decide to take on you will have a learning curve. Therefore, your paychecks will start rolling in at a limited rate, at first. Then, you will find that the more you learn about the business, the more you will make.
My experience with this is when I first started I made $880 dollars in my first month of doing BPO’s. The next month, I was up to $1,770 in extra income from doing just BPO work. Each month I have grown by expanding the number of companies I work with and by increasing the dollar amount that I receive. To give you a better idea of what is possible, within my TOP MONTH I have made a total of over $2,700 dollars (by doing BPO work alone, meaning all by myself with no outside help and without using automation software). WOW, Huh!
Within my TOP MONTH with the outside assistance of my teammates I made a total of over $4,000 dollars! (Again, this was when I did things the ‘old-fashioned way’……..all by hand before BPO AutoFill software existed.)
As you can imagine, this made it very easy to be extremely ecstatic about being able to have a steady source of income within real estate, so that I didn’t have to rely on commission checks.
Many people go from doing BPO’s to working with REO (Real Estate Owned) listings, where you would work directly with banks, government-backed lenders, private mortgage lending companies and asset management companies. Your job would be to list and help sell homes that these institutions had to take back because people defaulted on their mortgage payments and thus the bank foreclosed on the home.
This is an area where you can make tremendous amounts of money and pull in big commission checks. It’s also a fantastic way to carve a niche for yourself and add to your credentials, but it is getting more and more difficult to break into this area of the industry. So don’t expect that you will make it rich ‘right out of the gate.’
Moving back to the main question at hand, if I had to pinpoint the exact dollar amount that you could expect to receive by doing a typical order, I would tell you that it depends on many factors; some of which are within your direct control and some of which are not.
Please be aware that there are still vast and plentiful opportunities to make your make in this business. There are many people who have started doing BPO work in the past few years. Some are doing very well in many regards and you can be one of them too!
